Cozumel

Of the two cities we stopped on during our honeymoon, Cozumel was by far the better--notice, if you will, that there's not a single picture of Progreso, due to the fact that we are trying desperately to forget that experience...and trust me, you would be too.

But Cozumel was a cool place--very attractive, if a bit touristy, with a gorgeous beach view. So enjoy.

A simple beach view. Yet another beach view. A cool old ship in the harbor.
Just a cool walkway down to the beach. I really like this picture. Scenic construction. Nice to know it's not just a Nashville thing. A view down the street o'shoppes.
A really bizarre mascot for some Internet cafe type thing. Street shot, with
obligatory fat white guy.
Cool Christmas tree in the town square--remember, this was 12/23.
A really bizarre nativity scene. Hard to see, but the donkey is towering over a tiny cow (!). Neat gazebo thing in
the town square.
Tree again, with my lovely new bride in the foreground.
Beach view, from the square. Old church/clock tower? More freaky nativity.
Your homely webmaster. Just a flagpole and monument. Another pic I really like. Same monument, with
lovely wife.
View of the town. More town. Street o'shoppes.
More street. Cool fountain in town square. Same fountain.
Cool dolphin topiary (tho it is a tad too Shining for my taste...) Tulip topiary. Neat stuff. View of the town from
our departing pier.
More pier view. Final pier view. The ocean, right before we left.

The happy couple, right before leaving town behind.
