The 2007 Renaissance Fair
(With special guest Aidan)

The Tennessee Renaissance Fair is a big deal for Maria, who always enjoys it, so I knew we were going at some point. No big deal to me--I enjoy it most of the time, though people are a bit odd there. Still, it's almost always a fun day, and with the weather being so nice, we had a great time.

Of course, this year, Aidan came with us, which made the whole thing a bit different, and therefore in need of photographic documenation...

Gotta take a nap before the fair--
how else could we enjoy it?
The great thing about babies is how people are instantly attracted
to them and want to talk to them. This was the beginning...
...of a very odd conversation which involved babies' standard greeting (waving feet), the guy in blue
joining in the drool party, keys jingling, and all sorts of things that probably amused me a lot
more than Aidan. I did enjoy that the guy in blue saluted Aidan for being "about to rock". Good stuff..
Even fairies need to
sleep, apparently...
While getting ready for the
chess game, we saw this:
the scariest tattoo ever made.
We join the human chess
match, already in progress...
Action from the human chess match, including our friends from earlier...
My son remains a ham for cameras, obviously.
