Professional Pictures from 2008

Thanks to some old friends of Maria who are now professional photographers with their own studio (Ulmer Studios, whom I can't recommend enough or say enough good things about), we managed to fill the void left when our old photographer left town. Over a couple of hours, they followed Aidan around the family farm and took a lot of pictures, mostly unposed. What follows are the results, which came out fantastically - I really love these shots. Seriously, if you need a little one photographed or just need a photographer, go see Ulmer Studios - the shots below speak for themselves.

One of the few posed shots they
took: the standard family shot.
Aidan gets ready to
face down Agent Smith
in the final Matrix movie.
Hamming it up for the camera;
you can't hear it, but he's
saying "cheese" as he takes this.
The many faces and moods of Aidan Mauthe.
Scoping out the horses. Aidan and his dad,
brave explorers.
"And with Action News
weather, Aidan Mauthe..."
Screw you guys; I'm outta here. The undisputed favorite pic -
really brings out his eyes.
A personal favorite -
such joy in this one.
Soaking in the joy
of leaf-throwing.
Another posed. How did Aidan get away without posing
but not us?
Making a run for it. Also, this
proves that Ulmer Studios
can, in fact, hit the
broad side of a barn.
I don't know whose butt
you're looking at, but you're
in trouble either way.
A last dose of ham for the cameras.
