The 2010 Flooding: Monday, 5:00 a.m.

After two solid days of rain (totaling 13-18" of rain), the downfall finally stopped. The morning after, Maria went down to the farm and her mom's house to document what she could. Here are the pictures she took that morning. Presented without comment except to say that pictures legitimately don't do this justice; seeing it in person is fairly staggering.

Maria took more pictures later on during the day, around 3:00 - for those, click here.

on a hill; what you can
see is the upper level

level is entirely submerged.

not reached their
house yet, thankfully.
